iCARE PAG member Antonina Kandiurin presented at the 51st Annual International Society for Pediatric and Adolescent Diabetes (ISPAD) Conference held early November in Montreal, QC.
Antonina presented “Youth Onset Type 2 Diabetes: Perspective of a Road Less Travelled”. She focused her talk on the positive side of her journey—how living with type 2 diabetes has influenced who she is today and empowered her to advocate for others who might not have a voice, ensuring they don’t experience the same experiences she had. Such a powerful presentation!
