Our Participant and Family Advisory Group
The iCARE Participant and Family Advisory Group is a group of youth and adults who are passionate about type 2 diabetes. It helps us figure out what to research next as well as how to share information for people in healthcare and the community to understand more about the struggles of youth with this disease.They meet every few months to give their feedback and ideas to the iCARE research team about what to study next and how to study it in a good way. Members get compensation ($$) and connect with other youth and families affected by type 2 diabetes. You don't need to know about research to join.
