Effects of consuming artificial sweetener during pregnancy

Dr. Meghan Azad and Dr. Vernon Dolinsky published a translational study about prenatal artificial sweetener exposure made possible by their interactions in DREAM and DEVOTION, and supported by a CHRIM Operating Grant. The study involved analysis of CHILD data and complementary experiments in mice and adipocyte cell cultures. It was a true team effort, with several clinical and basic science trainees contributing.
