Overcoming diabetes in Aboriginal youth and combating prejudices

Dr. Allison Dart , Dr. Barry Lavallée, and Tony, a patient of Dr. Dart's, were interviewed by Radio Canada earlier this month. They explain the growing prevalence of Type 2 Diabetes in youth, particularly in Manitoba. Tony provides insight on what it is like to live with type 2 diabetes and what this means for him and his family.
