Members of the FINISHED project (http://www.kidneyhealth.ca/wp/about-us/projects/finished-project/finishedcomm/) performed screening in rural and remote Indigenous communities in Northern Manitoba. In collaboration with the Diabetes Integration Project, the team found that screening for chronic kidney disease was associated with increased quality of life at a cost that would be beneficial to providers.
