His research focuses on developing statistical methods for pharmacoepidemiology and perinatal epidemiology\, with an emphasis on methods for causal inference and a substantive focus on medications in pregnancy. \n\n\n\nDr. Platt was interviewed in Season 1 of the Emerging Scholar Podcast\, co-produced by DREAM investigator Dr. Jon McGavock.
