CON-SNP Chapter

The University of Manitoba Chapter of the Canadian Obesity Network for Students and New Professionals (CON-SNP) exists to bring together students and recent graduates in the healthcare, research, and policy fields interested in management and preventing overweight and obesity. Another of UManitoba CON-SNP’s mandate is to organize regular events/initiatives to provide a forum for discussions with the general community related to the reduction of weight bias and increasing support for people affected by overweight and obesity. The group is also committed to stay in touch with other CON-SNP Chapters across Canada and to the Canadian Obesity Network.
